Reviewing my MLB picks

So three out four series ended up in sweeps and I only predicted one. That's ok, I still went 3 for 4 and only missed on my beloved Red Sox (now I second guess walking Hunter to face Vlad, I mean I still remember when he hit that grand slam against Papelbon three years ago, but that's another story).

So now is Angels vs. Yankees and Phillies vs. Dodgers, playoffs are looking good!!!

Week #5 picks

Bills - because the Browns are a mess.
Cowboys - I still think Tony Romo is better than that.
Vikings - the way they are playing, of course.
Giants - even if Ely doesn't play they are still the Giants at home.
Eagles - McNabb is back, the offense is back to normal and maybe Vick can do something.
Steelers - super bowl champions against Dante Culpepper.
Redskins - I had a hard time with this one, but the reds have a been a better team so far.
Ravens - because they are just so good on defense and I'm still not convinced the Bengals are for real. Falcons - 49ers are missing Gore and the Falcons should be comming strong after the bye.
Jaguars - because!
Cardinals - they need to get back on the race.
Patriots - this is the toughest game for Denver so far and the Patriots are still the Patriots.
Colts - not even close.
Dolphins - I know, I'm crazy, but if they play like last week, Keys are getting crushed.

My playoffs picks

With one day of the playoffs gone, I'm giving my picks:

Twins vs. Yankees:
The yanks will win in 4. This is the best team they have had since 2000 and they are playing like it. The bullpen is great and the offense better. My only concern is the rotation after C.C.: which Burnett are we going to see? And can Pettite still perform?

Red Sox vs. Angels
Tough one, angels are the favorite but I can't go against my team. Lester is the ace then Beckett and the bullpen is awesome. The Angela threat is their potent offense and the good lefties in their staff. This is going 5 games with the BoSox on top.

Cardinals vs. Dodgers
Before last night's game I had the Cardinals winning, but after beating Carpenter the Dodgers have turn the balance of power. If the Dodgers can keep wearing down St. Louis two aces the bullpen will get the job done. For St. Louis to win the need to feast on the Dodgers mediocre rotation. Cardinals should win but I got my money of the Dodgers in 5.

Rockies vs. Phillies
Colorado already lost an outing with their best pitcher so their chances of beating the Phillies are slim to none. Philadelphia is just to powerful and talented for the Rockies and will sweep the series.

I'm back. After a long layoff, being heartbroken because we lost to freaking Netherlands and being busy and overwhelmed with school and work, I'm finally back. I like this, I love sports and I want to share my thoughts.
